Welcome to Word for Mac 2011 Essential Training. Microsoft has released a new Office Suite for Mac users for 2011, and the new version of Word has some features to make it easier than ever to create great documents. I'll start by going through the basics of using Word, walking through the interface, understanding the views, and getting text on that blank page.
Then I'll get right into how to format text, paragraphs, and documents, so you can make your files look just the way you want them to. I'll show you how to add images and other media to your documents using the media browser and other techniques, and how to fine-tune your document layout for a polished look. Finally, I'll walk through some of the essential Office Features: working with others, building letters and envelopes, and producing secure documents, tasks to make any boss happy. This course is designed for people brand new to Word on the Mac, but if you're already a user, you'll.

Hi Kate Make sure you have the WordArt selected then you should see a new tab (the contextual one) called Format (it has the words Drawing Tools written above that should be highlighted in a different colour). On this tab is a section called WordArt Styles and in that section is a drop down arrow next to Text Effects - that's where the Transform command can be found. If you're still having trouble post back & I'll do a screenshot:-) Lucy - Lucy Thomson PowerPoint MVP MOS Master Instructor 'Kate' wrote in message news:[email protected].

- Luc Sanders (MVP - PowerPoint) Lucy Thomson 19/2/2008, 23:29 น. So after playing around with all the feature for few minutes, I find that I can create all the styles from PP 2003! But I have to craft each design, fill, shading, 3D, angling, style, etc, etc, etc. So you are absolutely correct no doubt about it. However, the PP 2003 had all that work predone and I could select many styles at will.
So while my artistic license is actally greatly expanded, the ability to grab a premade font in not so quick. It is faster for me on my routine work to grab a PP 2003 style and import.
But when I need to create the art wonder of the day or the week and can play around with all the features, yes I can create some funky stuff to wow, panache and pizazz as needed!! Thanks - Safety Bob Echo S 25/6/2009, 13:37 น. You can quickly apply formatting using the Quick Styles Gallery on Drawing Tools Format tab in the WordArt Styles area. Just click the arrows next to the big As to scroll through your options or expand the gallery.
Choose one of those for a start, then go in and do your transforming. Echo MS PPT MVP What's new in PPT 2007? Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances PowerPoint 2007 Complete Makeover Kit Enter the Create a Spark Presentation Contest here!
